Kids Cooking Class - Chicken skewers with grilled pineapple and tomato salsa + Caramel Ice Cream Cake

About this experience

Get ready for a delicious adventure in the kitchen! In this fun-filled cooking class, young chefs will learn how to make delicious chicken and pineapple skewers with a zesty side of fresh salsa, followed by a sweet and chilly treat - a no bake ice cream cake with a buttery biscuit base, gooey caramel centre and topped with shavings of decadent chocolate. 

So whether your child is a budding mini masterchef or just wants to learn some new skills, they're sure to love this class. 

This event will take place in our buzzing cafe space on Thursday 9 October, from 10am-12 noon.  

During the class, kids will be given step-by-step guidance and will learn basic kitchen skills like:

• Chopping and mixing
• Assembling ingredients
• Safe food handling

Each child will receive a paper chef's hat and their cooked items, will be packed and ready to take home. Alternatively, they can enjoy their creations with their class members. 

All classes are conducted by a fully qualified chef and facilitator and kids will be encouraged to ask questions throughout the class.  

Class sizes are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. Group bookings are most welcome. Class suitable for 5-12 year olds. 

Class cost is $45 per child. 

Note: Photos may be taken during the class for promotional purposes. Please advise us on the day if you prefer for your child not to be photographed. 

Cancellations and changes

• Please note there are no refunds for cancellations. Store credit will be provided. 
• Please arrive by 9.30 am to sign in for the class and be ready for class commencement at 10 am.
