Beef pita with chopped Greek salad and tzatziki

Makes 6


  • 600g Our Farm beef mince
  • ½ cup parsley leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 tbs dried oregano 
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp salt flakes
  • 6 pita bread (18cm) 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Greek salad 

  • 2 small Lebanese cucumbers, diced 
  • 250g punnet cherry tomatoes, halved 
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • ¼ cup fresh oregano leaves 
  • To serve tzatziki and lemon wedges 


Step 1

In a bowl combine Our Farm beef mince, parsley, spices, salt and mix until combined. 

Step 2

Press a thin layer of 100g beef mince onto pita,  leaving a 2cm gap around the edge. Continue with remaining beef mince and pita. 

Step 3

Combine salad ingredients in a bowl and drizzle with olive oil and season with salt flakes. 

Step 4

Heat 1 teaspoon of oil in a non-stick fry pan over medium heat and cook pita beef side down for 3-4 minutes or until beef is crispy and cooked, flip pita over and cook for a further 2 minutes. Continue with remaining beef pitas. 


To serve the beef pitas, top with tzatziki, Greek salad and lemon wedge.
