Unleash your child's inner masterchef with our kids' cooking classes, specially designed to keep them engaged and entertained these school holidays.
In this class, the kids will learn how to make their own lamb gyros, followed by a delicious choc chip cookie sandwich, for dessert. It's a fantastic way for them to master savoury and sweet treats in a single session!
The kids will be provided with step-by-step guidance through the process of making a mouth-watering lamb gyros, including cooking the lamb, preparing the veggies and tzatziki, before assembling their creations in fluffy pita bread.
After mastering gyros making, the kids will be shown how to make delicious choc chip cookie sandwiches, for dessert. It's a great opportunity for them to learn new techniques and enjoy a sweet treat they've made themselves.
Alongside the cooking process, we'll incorporate an educational component by introducing them to the ingredients, emphasising food safety practices, demonstrate cooking techniques and teaching the kids about the origin of meat, all while ensuring the kids are kept engaged and entertained.
Each child will receive a paper chef's hat, apron and recipes. Their cooked items will be packed for them to enjoy later, or if time allows, they can enjoy their creations during the class.
All classes are conducted by a fully qualified chef and accompanied by a facilitator and kids will be encouraged to ask questions throughout the class.
Classes will take place in our buzzing cafe space.
Class sizes are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. Group bookings are most welcome. Class suitable for 5-12 year olds.
Note: Photos may be taken during the class for promotional purposes. Please advise us on the day if you prefer for your child not to be photographed.
